Character designs for Circle of Hands, by R. Edwards

European Dark Ages style setting, with a touch more physical diversity in its populace, a dark fantasy with some really gritty themes. My favorite has got to be the one-eyed old woman throwing a francisca. I want to grow up to be her. The fabrics are my especial joy because I'm a fiber artist as well. These are Viking and Northern European weaving/embroidery patterns in their belts, collars and tunics, some reproduced from material found in old graves.
